Albany, NY- July 11, 2011- They say that things happen for a reason and that is definitely true for Caroline
and Paul Barrett.  If Paul did not get laid off from his job last spring, the Barretts may have never followed
their dream of expanding the all-natural foods company, Our Daily Eats™.
 
While the company officially started in 2004, it was not a full-time effort until Paul lost his job. “It was now
or never” says Paul.  "Making my own maple roasted nuts started out as a hobby and something that I liked
to do around the holidays for family and friends. The feedback was always great and everyone said that I
should sell these, so that is how it began”, says Caroline.
 
With its roots selling at local farmers markets, Our Daily Eats™ will now be available in 32 Price Chopper
stores across 6 states, including New York, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and
Pennsylvania.  Each of the 32 stores will offer Our Daily Eats™ Spicy Maple Almonds, Cinnamon Maple
Almonds, Mexican Cocoa Almonds, and Spicy Maple Pepitas.  
 
Our Daily Eats™ maple roasted nuts have received noted attention from Rachel Ray’s Snack of the Day, and
taste great in cereal, ice cream, yogurt, salads, snacking on-the-go, or added to a favorite recipe.  Varieties
include Spicy Maple Almonds, Cinnamon Maple Almonds, Spicy Maple Pepitas, Mexican Cocoa Almonds,
